Qualification:
Desired profile of the candidate: MBA – Human Resources from a recognized university in India. Additional qualifications in Labour Law will be preferred.

Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in handling Human Resources at the national level, in multiple locations companies, preferably in Health and/or Social Development sector.

Candidates with experience of handling Legal cases along with Human Resources will be preferred.

Essential skills:
Good Communication skills, good report writing skills, computer operation skills, presentation skills. Computer literacy essential

Director HR & Legal should have management proficiency to handle all the HR & legal affairs and assist the Management to address the internal and external legal concerns of the Association. This professional must have extensive HR knowledge, skills and discipline to keep the Association functioning and out of legal trouble.

1. Purpose:
Director – Human Resources & Legal is responsible for supporting Human Resource Management and interpretation to the Senior Management in accordance with the established Association policy and procedures.

2.Roles and Responsibilities:

To provide support to the FPAI Management in the following areas:
Human Resources Operations & Strategy
Responsible for the Human Resource Development of FPAI HQ and Branches
Assist and facilitate recruitment & selection of staff at FPAI HQ and Branches
Assist and facilitate performance appraisals, service contract renewals and appointments
Ensure that proper data base of all FPAI staff is maintained accurately
Oversee Provident Fund and Gratuity data
Review legal matters and provide timely assistance to the FPAI Management
Review and update FPAI Human Resource manual as and when required
Develop and maintain Performance Management System
Ensure Statutory compliances
Draft legal documents (ranging from MoUs to grant agreements to service and consultancy agreements.
Review staff appointment letters
Liaison with FPAI’s external legal consultants.
Provide advice on human resources issues that deals with staff grievances, harassment complaints and disciplinary cases in accordance with the established Association policy and procedures.
Review complaints raised against Headquarters’ and Branch staff members for misconduct; gather information and conduct initial assessment, recommend official investigation, if required, and coordinate related actions; provide guidance and to advise the FPAI Management
To perform duties any other as assigned by the Seniors
