  1. Hello Sir/Madam
    I am Rev: George Kibwiika writing on behalf of Disabled Children Rehabilitation Project from Uganda. This is a community-based, non-profit, non-government, fully Registered organization started in 2006 in Iganga and Wakiso districts in the Republic of Uganda. We touched by the way the society sidelined the disabled children and began this organization in an effort to give the disabled children a chance to live a meaningful life.
    The Organization gives these children formal and non-formal education, accommodation to abandoned disabled children , medical , psychological care and career building through teaching them self reliant skills, such as hand crafts, pottery, music and drama to mention a few. It also builds their self esteem additional to the standard primary curriculum/syllabus to make them self reliant citizens.
    This project identifies abandoned disabled children from their homes as there is a culture of isolating children with disabilities here in Uganda. Further outreach and sensitization is done especially getting the parents of these children fully involved by demonstrating that these children can fully participate in day to day activities of the society on their own.
    We are approaching you for Funds to enable these disabled children to continue with their education in 2017-2020.
    Presently, we are seeking school fees and scholastic materials for 20 disabled children who attend different schools for the year 2017-20. Through this we will continue to bring a smile on the faces of these underprivileged children through education.
    Our budget is US Dollars 10,000 for 20 disabled children for the whole year, each child Us Dollars 500 per year. The following is the organization bank account details in case of any help;

    Please contact us at our email; and ask any questions you may have regarding our organization and its activities.
